About Me
Hi, I’m Sophia...
I'm living with POTS with the support my incredible wife and our little family of dogs, together we have overcome many of the challenges that POTS has brought to us and I have managed to lead a relatively normal life. I am still on a journey but I work, I'm stable and I know how to control my symptoms - every month I continue to improve. I know how debilitating POTS is and I want to help in supporting others to be able to experience the same level of stability that I've been able to gain. I hope that with my content, I can help you find some relief from your POTS symptoms.
CHOP of the POTS started when I became infected with Covid-19 in 2021. Since then, I developed viral onset Dysautonomia, with Orthostatic Hypotension and other multiple symptoms falling under the POTS umbrella. After an extremely challenging time working with GPs, I went on my own path with functional practitioners, specialists and my own research - I started to make significant progress towards recovery and realised I could support and help others in achieving this. What I didn't have to start with was guidance, coaching and support - these are all things that I feel are needed to bring POTS / Dysautonomia patients back to health.
I do make product recommendations which are solely based on reviews from the POTS community that take the form of sponsored links in order to fund this project, I do the blogging in my free time around work and any contribution through buying POTS products via my links are gratefully received. I'm happy to partner with businesses and speak on my experiences in order to support others who are facing this illness.
I also provide coaching to individuals who need support in structuring their approach to POTS/Dysautonomia, and feel that they need a helping hand. This can be as light touch or intensive as is needed - give me a shout if you would like to speak on this using the below link.
I wish you all good health!
