Starting with my favourite supplement.... I actually learned about this via AFIB groups where people with consistent heart issues were finding relief with this supplement. I’ve been taking Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) daily for my POTS, and I can say it’s been "iteratively transformative" in that it's so subtle that it takes time to realise how good it actually is. I had headaches for the first week and then they calmed down and I started to see some really beneficial effects. Some people report LDN as a "miracle cure" but it seems everyone responds to this drug a little differently.
LDN has helped me tackle the root cause of many of my symptoms, particularly by reducing inflammation—a key factor in chronic conditions like POTS.
I'm recommending this book as an overview of some of the opportunities that LDN can present - Linda Elsegood does a fabulous job of describing these - but this is down to personal choice and I can’t stress enough that everyone should do their own research and consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new treatment.
